| I was appointed first as a staff nurse under Ministry of Health in Sri Lanka year 1998 June, after undergone three years of Certificate of General Nursing. Since then, I have been working as a staff nurse and senior staff nurse, at present I am working in a leading hospital in Oman. This is the only psychiatric tertiary hospital in Oman with modern mental health care facilities. During my more than 10 years of period in nursing service, I gained considerable and wide range of knowledge as well as experience in psychiatric, psycho-geriatrics, medical and renal nursing field.
