Purpose of the Job
Apply knowledge large complex rail infrastructure Projects
Co-ordinate with Programme Manager for all Project control activities including cost control, planning and Scheduling, estimating, Change Control and risk Management. The range of support activities for the Project Teams is indicative of the importance of the role
Determine a clear and unified sense of purpose for the Project teams and Project Control activities, develop team work, motivate personnel within the teams and generally ensure that the work climate is established to enable all team members to work effectively and to a high standard to meet the requirements of the Project Delivery teams
To organise information gathering to provide visibility to progress and performance of the Project to enhance decision making and communication across the Project
Ensure a common and consistent approach to cost reporting and cost control in the Project
Manage the development of reporting procedures and work breakdown structures to meet the control requirements
Manage provision of robust project control data to allow successful negotiations to be undertaken with Stakeholders
Responsible for overseeing the project Planning process
Assist in the assessment of delay and disruption subject of claims toward the Customer

Objectives
- Reporting to Project Director
- In liaison with Partner Project Managers, organise information to provide visibility of progress and performance of the project to enhance decision making
- Ensure adherence to all Consortium commercial and Project control procedures
- Provide visible and robust statistical data and analysis of the performance of the Project
- Provide integrated planning and schedules to meet the needs of the Project teams
Responsibilities
- Ensure identification recording and assessment of commercial risks and advise Project Director
- Ensure that project costs are updated and reported each period
- Oversee the development and maintenance of integrated schedules
- Ensure identification, recording, assessment and modelling of commercial risks and uncertainties to mitigate their effects and ensure successful completion
Educational Requirements
Engineering Degree in a construction related area
Membership of an Engineering Project Management Association or equivalent
Fluent English, (knowledge of Turkish would be an advantage).
Desired Knowledge / Experience
Extensive experience gained in the context of large complex rail infrastructure projects
Experience of Cost Engineering planning and risk analysis
Technical Skills & Competencies
Analytical and logical
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of latest programme management software suites (Primavera)
Able to work accurately with figures and computers
Able to work in team
Self motivated self starter
