My client is currently seeking a hands on Front of House Restaurant Manager with extensive experience of working in the industry.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be required to lead and manage Front of House - bar and /or restaurant. Bring professionalism, enthusiasm and consistency to service levels without losing the personal touch for which the restaurant is known and valued by longstanding patrons.

Job Description
The successful candidate will be required to run Front of House activities:
Meeting and greeting of guests and ensuring smooth, efficient service.
Management of restaurant staff [up to 25 employees in summer)
Oversee management of bar (Bar Manager to report to Restaurant Manager)
Recruitment
Training & standard setting
Financial - stock take analysis, cost analysis, etc.
Personal Specification
Qualification:
Candidates should have an industry qualification or equivalent industry experience in a similar role.
Experience:
We are looking for an ambitious hands-on manager with at least 4 years experience in a busy restaurant/bistro environment whose business was won based on the quality of food and service rather than location or other factors.
Experience is required in hands-on service, people management, guest interaction, recruitment, training, standard setting, negotiations and financial management.
