The Assistant Accountant will be required to prepare financial statements for the insurance company; prepare cash and bank account reconciliations; maintain a fixed asset register and liaise with auditors for annual financial statements of the insurance company.
Applicants must be working towards completion of an internationally recognised professional accountancy qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA)together with minimum of two years relevant experience, preferably within a banking environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential as are advanced computer skills, with proficiency in Excel.
