Account Manager (Media Sales)
 

An excellent opportunity to join a growing and thriving news and media company and facilitate continuing rapid growth in a key sales role as Business Development Executive, where you will work to sales targets and develop business at the highest level within a B2B environment, selling online recruitment services to HR professionals.

Key Responsibilities
- Consistently exceed monthly Sales Targets, developing expert knowledge of the features & benefits of the company's media products
- Understand & demonstrate effectively to customers the return on investment
- Interpret & use market research statistics to convey the benefits of the company's media
- Become an expert on all sales collateral and develop a high level of understanding of the company's media sales
- Understand and achieve day to day KPI's which include appointments, closes, strike rates, reject levels and customer satisfaction
- Ensure the customer is your No. 1 priority and consistently aim to delight your customer
- Develop strong relationships & empathy with customers, selling a value proposition which meets customer needs
- Understand the demands of the internal customer & meet expectations
- Demonstrate highest level communication skills including: Influencing Skills, Presentation skills & networking skills - building a strong network of contacts at a senior level
- Ensure all necessary contracts & other relevant paperwork are completed to the highest standard

Experience & Skills

- Must have a minimum of 1-2 years successful experience, ideally in advertising or media sales
- Proven track record of achievement in new business development and account management
- Proven ability to build relationships with customers
- Background in the IT or Internet, Human Resources or Recruitment processes an advantage
- Must enjoy working in a challenging, competitive and energetic sales environment
- Proven ability to adapt to change, able to work independently
- Proven progression in career to date with a focus on personal development
- Highly successful and results driven, thriving in a challenging environment
- Constantly seeking new challenges with a focused attitude in a competitive team
- Willingness to grow sales skills and desire for a new opportunity and top results
- A can do attitude with high income aspiration and a constant need for self achievement
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Customer Focused, able to solve problems with outstanding people skills
- The ability to plan and organise with great attention to detail
- Clean driving license
