An excellent opportunity to join a market leading multinational in a key support role providing a professional, friendly and efficient service to customers throughout Europe. Input customer orders to the order-entry system and provide timely and accurate responses to customer queries.
Key Responsibilities
- Take orders by fax, phone, post, email and input to the company’s order entry system
- Provide customers with prices as per the company’s order entry system
- Supply customers with expected delivery dates or delivery status, airway bill numbers
- Supply customers with product status, deal with queries and process special orders for custom made items
- Escalate technical queries
- Process information and deal with follow-up queries on returns and complaints
- Process requests for literature, catalogues, etc.
- Inform customer of account status
- Communicate emergency orders/requests to various manufacturing plants
- Input special prices on the company’s order entry system
- Generate reports as directed by the Customer Service Supervisor
- Follow all company procedures relating to quality and processes
Skills & Experience
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent and relevant certificate/diploma
- Previous Customer Service and/or Order Entry Experience is essential
- Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
- Excellent data entry skills
- Computer literacy: Good working knowledge of Microsoft® Office
- Fluency in French/Spanish/Italian/German and English is essential
- Positive attitude and proven problem-solving skills
- Team Player, with ability to work using own initiative
- Professional approach, able to deal with customers at all levels
- Availability and willingness to travel on company business
- Representatives may be required to spend time overseas for training purposes
