PROCESS ENGINEER - OIL & GAS - NEW ZEALAND or Australia

To service this workload we are able to offer you an opportunity to join this international team of Oil & Gas professionals.
Ideally you have 10 years plus experience and are looking for the chance to balance lifestyle with challenge and the opportunity to develop junior staff.
Alternatively we will consider Process Engineers with 4 years plus Oil & Gas experience looking to consolidate their experience and further develop their skills.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Problem definition / solution identification / report writing and development / quality control
• Process simulations / single and multiphase hydraulic calculations
• Process equipment sizing / control valve characterization / relief valve sizing
• Process flow diagram development / P&ID development / MSD development
• Process design reviews / HAZOP reviews / support & coordination with other disciplines
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications
• Proficiency with Aspentch Hysys and other process simulation / hydraulic software applications (dynamic simulation capability considered a plus)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to interact with clients in a lead capacity
• Mentoring younger engineers
• Willingness to travel within Australasia periodically to client plant sites and offices
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, a qualified chemical engineer or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years process engineering experience.
A demonstrated ability to problem solve issues and apply engineering concepts to practical situations will ensure your success in this role.
