Company description:
NAHVI or National Association of Housing for Visually Impaired is a charity providing housing within the community for blind, or visually impaired young adults some of whom have additional learning or physical disabilities.
While the main body of our charity's work is the provision of community housing we have also undertaken a larger 'national project', the construction of a Respite Centre in County Roscommon. The centre will be multi-functional providing:
-A place where visually impaired young people from across Ireland along with their families, can go to have a break from the stresses of daily living.
-Training facilities for both the blind person and his/her family as well as professionals working in the field of visual impairment.
-The latest in aids and technology for the blind which those in residence will be able to learn
